About Me I am a pagan who depends on history and my walk with the God and Goddess to guide me on my life journey. The God and Goddess work together as one and I believe nature was created to serve us and guide us through our journey, we just have to learn to read the signs that our Mother and Father give us, whether it be through spells, rituals, meditation, dreams, visions, or divination. We all communicate differently because we are different and I believe the primary reason for our exsistance is to learn to love each other despite our differences whether it be cultural, physical appearance or beliefs.

    What Kind of Pagan

    Sunday, November 4, 2007, 08:50 PM [General]

What kind of Pagan are you?
    created with QuizFarm.com
    You scored as Ecclectic Pagan

A veritable blend of all the pantheons and perhaps a dash of a few other religions as well, you're the versitile Ecclectic Pagan. You have no problem wearing an ankh while setting an offering to Herne on your alter just below your image of Hera. You don't believe in coloring within the lines, and are a bright free-thinker. While you respect the views of your fellow pagans, as far as you're concerned, religion is the sky, and there's no one about to clip your wings with lines and limitations.

    It has been too long

    Thursday, May 31, 2007, 10:20 PM [General]

    Merry Meet!

It has been awhile since I have written and I hope all is well. School is keeping me busy and quite frankly I am a bit burnt out so graduation is looking pretty nice. I will finish in December so it is coming and I am happy to say that I am ready!

I have been exploring my spirituality alot lately and trying to find a place that I belong. I grew up Christian and since my awakening or enlightenment for lack of a better term my Christian friends are having a very hard time with it. I actually half way expect my one friend to pull up in an unmarked van and kidnap me for an intervention (LOL) The truth of the matter is I grew up southern baptist and I walked the walk and I talked the talk and I know exactly where they are coming from and understand about their fear of my damnation. But the truth of the matter is the more they try to force feed me the more repelled I am.

I put off my conversion to paganism because I wanted to make sure that I wasn't just angry at crooked preachers and holier than thou chuch members and all the vile things that happen in some of these churches. But I realized that I was denying a part of who I am and have always been. .. A witch. Ever since I was a small child I spoke to "Mother Nature" I knew their was a mother and a father. I was drawn to trees especially and the wind and the rocks. I have been gifted with dreams and the things that have always felt like home to my spirit were not the ways of the Christian upbringing that I had been raised.

I hate to lose my oldest friends but I can no longer deny my path and it saddens me but I know that my oldest friend Kate is not prepared to accept my new path and I am not sure that she ever will. She believes that to live without Christ is to live in death and no happiness or peace can come from it. She also believes that living without the church is to live without morals or accountability and we all know that is not true. The Wiccan Rede is very clear about that.

I am sorry to lay this out like this but many of you have had experience with this and I would love some insights.

    Brightest Blessings

Paganism in Shakespeare - Wanna help?

    Wednesday, March 28, 2007, 12:00 PM [General]

    Hey everyone :)

I am writing a paper for my Shakespeare Lit class and we are currently studying Othello. Which touches on some pagan tradition with a hankerchief. This sparked an interest in this otherwise tragic play. At least Hamlet left me with a little satisfaction that the villan got his just desert. Anyway, I am putting this shout out for resources in regards to Paganism in Shakespeares time and if you are a Shakespeare freak like aspire to be perhaps you can relay to me parts of other plays that touch on this as well.

I am excited about this paper.... I love treasure hunts ;)

Well..... here I am. A new member! I am really excited about being here and I am hoping that this is going to be more personable than Myspace. Don't get me wrong... I ove myspace but I have been looking for something a little different. I heard about Covan Space from the Pagan Living Podcast and I was thrilled to hear about it.

I am currently exploring my spirituality and what my beliefs are depend on the day you ask me. Stepping out of the Christian faith is both a liberating and scary experience. Where I go from her, well... we will see :)

Please feel free to ad me and I look forward to getting to know you :)

    Hugs
